The town’s exceptional marina plays host to a range of sailcraft - ideal for local fishermen and sailors.

Carrickfergus is home to a number of primary, secondary and grammar schools, and is only minutes away from Ulster University’s Jordanstown Campus - but the options don’t stop there. Public transport connects the town to Newtownabbey Regional College and Belfast, home to Queen’s University.
