Legislation dictates that a rental property should be both ‘fit and safe’ for human habitation. Did you know for example that houses built pre 1945 require a ‘fitness certificate’ or that ALL gas appliances in a rented property must be checked and certified annually? Electrical supplies must also be safe and Fire Safety regulations adhered to.
At the Rental Partnership we are fully equipped to arrange and monitor all necessary safety checks and handling any maintenance issues that may arise. We are also members of The Property Ombudsman scheme.
